Jamie Guyan

Associate

Jamie is an associate at Sterlington in its British Virgin Islands Practice. Jamie has extensive experience in advising on commercial disputes, including insolvency and asset recovery, commercial litigation, shareholder and director disputes, contentious trust issues, and banking and finance litigation.
Prior to joining the firm Jamie worked as an associate at Carey Olsen an offshore law firm in Jersey, where he also worked with multinational corporations, insolvency practitioners, institutional investors, plus UHNW and HNW individuals. Jamie has wide-ranging sector experience, having worked closely with the oil and gas sector as well as with the UK banking sector during his time in Scotland.
Jamie holds an LL.B. with first class honors from Robert Gordon University, and a Diploma in Professional Legal Practice with distinction. He also taught courses in the Diploma at Robert Gordon University.
