Laura Ghitti

Laura is an attorney with over 14 years of experience focusing on dispute resolution, international arbitration, commercial arbitration, and investment arbitration. She has acted in international and domestic arbitrations, in commercial and investment matters, both as counsel, arbitrator and as secretary to arbitral tribunals. She has also assisted national and foreign clients in matters related to energy, telecommunications, concession contracts, M&A, corporate contracts, real estate, data regulation and cyber matters.

She represents clients in arbitrations conducted in English as well as Portuguese and Spanish and has acted in cases before the leading arbitration chambers such as ICC, CAM-CCBC, CIESP/FIESP, CAM-B3, FGV, CAMARB, ARBITAC, LCIA, PCA and Centro de Análisis y Resolución de Conflictos PUCP. Her experience also spans ad-hoc arbitrations conducted in accordance with the UNCITRAL rules.

Laura holds an LL.B. from Unicuritiba Brazil, an LL.M. in International Economic and a Postgraduate Diploma in Private International Law from Law from Université Panthéon-Assas, France. She has been repeatedly recognized by Lexology (formerly Who’s Who Legal) as Arbitration Future Leader and Arbitration Thought Leader – Global Elite, as well as a Legal 500 Arbitration Rising Star.
