Hugo Costa Liziario

Hugo is an associate at Sterlington in its British Virgin Islands (BVI) practice. Hugo has extensive experience in high-value, complex and cross border commercial disputes, including civil fraud, contentious insolvency, financial services, crypto, professional negligence, asset recovery, contractual disputes, banking litigation, shareholder/director conflicts, and securities litigation.

Hugo’s clients include multinational corporations, insolvency practitioners, as well as UHNW and HNW individuals. Prior to Sterlington, he worked as an associate in the BVI office of Holman Fenwick Willan.

Hugo holds an LL.M. in International Commercial Law from the University of Law, London and an LL.B. from London Metropolitan University. Hugo is a Solicitor Advocate (Civil Higher Rights of Audience).
