Geoffrey Raicht is a partner and Head of Sterlington’s Bankruptcy and Restructuring practice. With nearly 25 years of partner experience, including as a partner at Sidley, McDermott, Proskauer, and Haynes and Boone, Geoffrey has extensive experience in restructuring and insolvency matters, including cross-border insolvency, distressed real estate, and financial restructurings. His clients have included hedge funds, private equity funds, debtors, directors, official creditors’ committees, secured lenders, asset purchasers, and distressed-debt traders. He has experience representing debtors in cross-border proceedings, UK administrators, and foreign court-appointed liquidators of offshore funds. The Legal 500 has recognized Geoffrey as one of the leading lawyers in his field, and he has authored numerous articles on bankruptcy matters. He previously clerked in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Southern District of New York. Geoffrey earned a J.D. from CUNY Law School, and an MPA and B.A. from New York University.
