Courtney Rockett
Partner, Litigation 
													
						Courtney Rockett is a partner in Sterlington’s litigation practice. She serves as lead strategy counsel for clients’ in their most business-critical and sensitive matters. Courtney spent over 18 years as a partner at Boies Schiller, where she built her reputation as a formidable litigator in high-stakes commercial litigation. Her earlier career includes training at Cahill Gordon & Reindel and recent practice as a partner at Mintz.
With over 20 years of experience, Courtney’s main area of practice is complex civil litigation, with emphasis on commercial transactions, partnership, fiduciary duty, private aviation, real estate, insurance, securities, entertainment, First Amendment, media, and intellectual property related disputes. She is an aggressive and accomplished litigator with a reputation for obtaining exceptionally favorable settlements for her clients, including after taking over and re-framing cases that have proceeded far down another path. Her trial work spans federal and state courts Nationwide. Her clients include major corporations, private equity firms, and high-profile individuals in the entertainment, finance, and technology sectors.

Courtney holds a JD from St. John’s University, where she graduated as Valedictorian, summa cum laude, and a BA in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin, where she graduated with High Honors.
