Courtney Rockett is a partner in Sterlington’s litigation practice. In over 18 years as a partner at Boies Schiller, she built her reputation as a formidable strategist and litigator in high-profile and bet-the-company litigation. She established the firm’s entertainment practice, representing clients on some of the most significant matters in the music, film, and television industries, and a top-tier private aviation dispute practice.

With over 25 years of experience, Courtney’s main practice area is complex civil litigation, with emphasis on commercial litigation, crisis management, partnership/fiduciary duty, private aviation, securities, First Amendment, media, sports & entertainment, IP, real estate, insurance, and cyber-related disputes. Courtney’s trial work spans federal and state courts nationwide. Her clients include major corporations, private equity firms, and high-profile individuals in the entertainment, finance, and technology sectors.
Courtney is ranked as one of the Leading Litigators in America by Lawdragon, Legal 500's New York Elite in Commercial Disputes, and is also featured in New York Super Lawyers and Crain’s New York Business: Notable Women in Law.

She was awarded two prestigious federal clerkships (SDNY and Second Circuit). Courtney holds a JD, summa cum laude, from St. John’s University, where she was Valedictorian (Highest Cumulative GPA), and member of the St. John’s Law Review, and a BA in Business Administration, High Honors, from the University of Texas at Austin.
