Lisa Jerde Spillman Joins Sterlington as Partner, Adding Her Experience in Investment Management and Regulatory Matters to the Firm

Sterlington is pleased to announce the expansion of its Investment Management and Regulatory, General Counsel, and Crypto practices with the addition of Lisa Jerde Spillman as a partner.

Sterlington PLLC is pleased to announce the expansion of its Investment Management and Regulatory, General Counsel, and Crypto practices with the addition of Lisa Jerde Spillman as a partner.

Before joining Sterlington, Lisa served as General Counsel for the State Treasurer’s Office of Wyoming which manages over $25 billion in assets where she was responsible for both regulatory oversight of investment matters as well as overseeing the legal side of the state’s investments. She also served as Senior Assistant Attorney General in Wyoming and practiced for 10 years before that in California.

“Lisa is a talented partner with experience advising clients on a wide range of investment management, regulatory, business creation and support, and technology matters,” said Christopher S. Lisa received her J.D. magna cum laude from Chapman University Fowler School of Law, holds a Master of Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, received her B.S. in Business from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management, and is expected to receive her Master of Finance in May 2023 from Colorado State University Global.

Lisa is active in her community, serving on the Board of Directors of Family Promise of Cheyenne and as President of the Laramie County Bar Association. She is also a partner with the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce.
