Krishna Omkar is a partner focusing on M&A, capital markets, and corporate governance. Before Sterlington, Krishna practiced at Slaughter and May for 8 years including his training and qualification, and King & Spalding for 4 years. He has advised clients on matters spanning more than 60 jurisdictions and over US$200 billion in a variety of sectors, including financial services, technology, fintech, life sciences, infrastructure, energy, sports and entertainment, and private wealth. His work has earned him broad recognition, including as a Recommended Lawyer for Premium M&A in the Legal 500 UK 2022 as well as the Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2020 and 2021, and the inaugural Rising Star Award at the British Legal Awards. Krishna is globally recognized as a thought leader on diversity, equity, inclusion, ESG, and stakeholder capitalism, and is a Fellow of St George’s House of Windsor Castle and the Royal Society of Arts. Krishna has a First Class Honors BA from St Stephen’s College Delhi, an MPhil from the University of Oxford, spent time as a visiting researcher at Sciences Po Paris, and received his LPC and GDL from BPP Law School London.
