NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Sterlington PLLC announced today that Robin Nunn, a seasoned trial attorney who has led financial services practices at multiple AmLaw 100 law firms and held senior in-house roles at American Express and Capital One, has joined the firm as a partner.

“Robin Nunn is a dynamic presence in the courtroom who brings invaluable experience in financial services, emerging technologies, and fiduciary and private client disputes, deepening our bench of litigation talent,” said Christopher S. Harrison, managing partner of Sterlington. “Clients trust Robin for the wisdom she brings to their highest-stakes disputes, and we welcome the wisdom she brings to our firm.”

Over a nearly 20-year career, Nunn has litigated more than 300 disputes in federal and state courts. Her practice spans a wide range of areas, with a focus on financial services, emerging technologies including blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and artificial intelligence, as well as on complex trust and estate and fiduciary disputes. She has practiced at multiple prominent international law firms, including Morgan Lewis, where she co-led the banking team, and Dechert, where she chaired the consumer financial services group. She also represents clients in fraud, securities, consumer protection, privacy and data security, and mass tort actions across industries including media, technology, healthcare, and manufacturing.

Nunn has received numerous honors throughout her career, including being named to The Network Journal’s list of 25 Influential Black Women in Business, a Minority Corporate Counsel Association Rising Star, and a fellow of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity.

“It’s an honor to join the impressive roster of legal talent that Sterlington has assembled in a short time, with good reason,” said Nunn. “I’m excited to practice at a place that combines the generalist bent of the best traditional law firms, while breaking their mold in other forward-thinking ways.”

Nunn joins a series of high-profile lateral partners who have joined Sterlington in the last seven months. They include Brent Babcock, a nationally-recognized PTAB practitioner and patent litigator; Larry Waks, a leading corporate lawyer known for advising A-list celebrities and global brands on high-stakes M&A; Robert Ray, the former federal prosecutor who succeeded Kenneth Starr as independent counsel; Jonathan Sherman and Courtney Rockett, highly-regarded longtime Boies Schiller litigators; Jesse Sherrett, an international arbitration lawyer from A&O Shearman; and Paul Jebely, the top private aviation attorney to ultra-high-net-worth individuals.

Nunn frequently appears in media outlets including The Washington Post and The American Lawyer, commenting on topics ranging from artificial intelligence to fintech. She received her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School and her B.A. from Dartmouth College.
