Eric Swartz

Partner, Head of Web3 Practice

Eric Swartz is a partner and Head of Sterlington’s Web3 practice, focusing on a wide range of crypto asset matters, including digital assets, cryptocurrency, blockchain, venture capital, IPO imminent investment, and growth equity. Eric also supports technology and crypto companies in private fund formations and M&A transactions. Before joining Sterlington, Eric served as the Crypto Vice Chair at Lowenstein Sandler, where he represented venture capital and private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies, private and public companies, and crypto projects involved in a wide range of transactions.

Prior to his time at Lowenstein, Eric was at Goodwin Procter in its Private Equity Group. Eric’s passion for innovation and entrepreneurship also led him to cofound a Web3 exchange and launchpad in addition to a Web3-focused investment bank. His career also spans alternative investment attorney and cryptocurrency researcher with a global trading and technology firm which became an early entrant into the cryptocurrency market. Eric holds a J.D. from Boston University School of Law and earned his B.A., magna cum laude, in Philosophy and History from Rutgers University.
