A well-established and growing international law firm is looking for a Legal Outsourcing Associate (initial reviewer) to support our growing team.

The Role

Our high-performing Legal Outsourcing team is continuing to grow through client wins. The team specializes as an outsourced provider to in-house legal teams’ contract review and management processes by providing a streamlined, efficient, one-stop service to achieving commercial agreements with third parties. We are looking for legal contract and compliance specialists to support our clients across NDA, MSA, engagement letters, vendor agreements and other commercial contracts. The international nature of our team means that this role will align to Australian Eastern Time (AET).

 

Responsibilities

  • Providing an initial review of client’s contracts and commercial agreements with third-party vendors (predominantly focusing on non-disclosure agreements NDAs)
  • Working with client ‘play-book’ to producing a high-quality review of NDAs and submitting to senior associate for review and sign-off.
  • Producing high-volume turnaround for the team’s contract review process within agreed SLAs.

QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • LLM (Australia, UK or US) advantageous
  • Possesses around 4 years of experience in legal contract review (NDA, MSA, vendor agreements etc.) based on UK, US or Australian law.
  • Possess attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Self-motivated and able to energize themselves to deliver to deadlines.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Fluency in English language, or evidence of fluency / high business proficiency in English.
