We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the IT infrastructure, managing a small team of IT professionals, and ensuring the seamless functioning of all technical systems within the organization, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365, Azure and Virtual Desktops.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 2-3 IT professionals providing 1st line support
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Troubleshooting and Support:
    • Provide technical support for staff and resolve escalated IT issues
    • Implement proactive measures to prevent system downtime
  • Infrastructure Management:
    • Oversee the maintenance, security, and performance of the company’s IT systems
    • Implement best practices for network and server infrastructure
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Manage and coordinate IT projects from initiation to completion
    • Collaborate with senior management to identify and prioritize IT initiatives
  • Project Management: 
    Manage and coordinate IT projects from initiation to completion.
  • Security and Compliance:
    • Develop and enforce security policies and procedures
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Vendor Management:
    • Evaluate and manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness

Experience required: 

  • Fluency in English to articulate problems/solutions (flexibility to support US/EST time zone)
  • 7+ years hands-on administration/set-up experience on Microsoft 365 (MFA, Licenses, quarantined emails, changing passwords, etc.)
  • 5+ years experience on Azure and Virtual Desktops
  • Some experience in CRM
  • Team leadership, managing and mentoring a small team of technical staff
  • Communication skills to discuss with non-technical teams, explaining issues, causes and resolutions
